Content Management System (CMS)

Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) has created a powerful Content Management System (CMS) which allows operators to manage every aspect of their PBS products, using one centralised tool. The CMS is called ‘Apollo‘ and it is a web-based application which can be run on any browser. The key features of our Content Management System include the creation of promotions, bonuses and target group management.


Apollo enables operators to steer banners in real-time across all available channels. Each PBS product has multiple advertising areas which can be utilised for promotional activities and what is displayed here is controlled via the CMS.

The following features and promotional banner types are available in Apollo:

  • Clickable, deep-linked banners: Directly link to certain leagues or even specific events
  • Acca banners: Add predefined stakes and payout amounts to the betslip with a simple click on the promotion
  • Display the latest highest winning tickets to encourage your customers to stake more and place more bets
  • Localisation of promotions: Banners automatically updated whenever the language is switched by the user
  • Random Game promotion: Select specific games to be promoted within a Random Game promotion
  • Powerful display options: Save time editing banners and show dynamic web content instead

Bonus Offers

Alongside promotions, Apollo also offers operators the opportunity to create personalised bonuses such as free bets, acca insurance and money boost bonus. The operator can define all the terms of the bonuses, for example, on which conditions a bet shall qualify, or on which terms the bonus may be redeemed. Bonuses can be applied to certain sports, leagues, matches and even down to specific markets allowing the operator to push certain events and differentiate the offering from their competitors.

These are the main bonus types available:

  • UK Bet Type Concession: Popular in the UK and usually run in conjunction with bets such as Lucky 15s
  • Free Bet Bonus: Can be granted by means of a voucher for a free bet, forming part of promotional campaigns
  • Acca Insurance: Can be granted to players as a consolation prize, e.g. for a close miss in accumulator bets
  • Acca Money Boost Bonus: Boosts potential winnings on accumulator, system and multi-way bets meeting defined criteria and therefore increases operators’ margins with high combinations

Target Groups

Target Groups allow promotions and bonuses to be tailored to certain areas, shops and even terminals based on the betting habits of particular customers. Operators can tailor specific campaigns not only to certain areas but also to certain sports, leagues, single events or customer card owners exclusively.
